Jobs for Designers in Crypto + Web3
There’s a massive rush of crypto projects spinning up, and almost all of them are seeking designers.
I've worked in the industry for 6 years now, starting with my work on the Bitcoin-based e-commerce app called PurseIO.
In the crypto universe, that length of experience makes me an OG, as the kids say. I find this ironic because in many ways I still feel like a beginner. There’s so much to learn in this space!
The truth is, when I started I knew absolutely nothing about Bitcoin. The project insisted they pay me in this alien currency. So I was forced to learn how to use it.
Looking back now, I see that was the luckiest moment of my life.
Fast forward to now and the industry is booming. Projects are led by incredible technical innovations. And many apps still have a loooong way to go in terms of crafting an easy-to-use experience.
In my position as a crypto elder 😉 I feel called to share these opportunities with skilled designers lookin’ to level-up.
We need all the user-centered designers we can get to evolve the usability and accessibility of apps in the Ethereum realm.
