Beginner's Guide to Testing Web3 Apps

Requirements
Write a minimum of 750 words on the topic
Must touch on what web3 apps are, why they are different than other apps, and how to get started with user-testing them
Must include a step-by-step guide for creating a wallet with MetaMask and how to switch between test networks
Must include a high-level explanation of what at testnet is, such as Rinkeby and Kovan, and how to go about getting testnet coins
Must include a link to test version of a beginner-friendly web3 app, so the reader can try out the flow for themselves
Delivered within 14 days, else the bounty will be released for another creator to pick up
Audience
Different from Citrine Labs. This post is geared toward experienced UI/UX designers and product people who are interested in working in web3
